Espirales Revista Multidisciplinaria de Investigación Científica is an indexed academic publication with the code ISSN 2550-6862, published quarterly in issues covering periods such as April–June and July–September. As its name suggests, it takes a multidisciplinary approach, serving as a platform for the dissemination of rigorous scientific studies from various fields of knowledge. Its articles include research applied to automotive engineering and sustainability (such as eco-design through life-cycle analysis at Ecuadorian polytechnic universities), business management at the local level (evaluating customer service in Guayaquil pharmacies), and the educational sciences. In this latter field, it addresses current issues in higher and public education in Ecuador, such as the relationship between faculty well-being and technological innovation at the University of Guayaquil, as well as perceptions of preparedness and the bureaucratic and pedagogical challenges faced by English teachers as they enter the public school system.
